Dr. Nicole Nitti is an accomplished, energetic family physician with over 20 years of clinical experience in primary and acute care.  After years of working  in Community Health Centres, Nicole ventured into private practice, joining a group of comprehensive family physicians in west Toronto and began working with ICHA at Junction Place- the first fully accessible men’s shelter in Toronto.  She is passionate about health equity and supporting health systems that lower barriers for people who are not well supported by mainstream health care.  Experienced and skilled in system leadership, supporting integrated inter-professional teams and quality improvement with a special interest in chronic disease prevention and management and harm reduction practices, Nicole brings unique insight to health care planning discussions. Beyond medicine, Nicole is a mother of three, loves to perform at open mics and just ran her first marathon in New York in the fall of 2022.
