Antonia Sappong

Dr. Sappong is the Seaton House Lead Physician with ICHA. Dr. Sappong completed her medical training in Kelowna, at the University of British Columbia, before returning to her home province to complete her family medicine residency at the University of Toronto. Prior to joining the Seaton House team, she locumed throughout a variety of urban and rural settings, which helped solidify her desire to work with vulnerable populations, and improve health equity. Outside of medicine, Toni is the co-founder of Plasticfree Toronto, a social media based platform where she works hard to educate and inspire her community to tackle issues of environmental pollution, climate justice, systemic and institutionalized racism, and poverty. She is also a certified yoga instructor, low-waste lifestyle aficionado, avid baker, and hiking enthusiast.
