We are delighted to introduce you to Payam Pakravan, our new Director of Operations. Payam will support the work of ICHA in helping us execute the goals outlined in our Strategic Plan and achieve our vision of a healthy end to homelessness.  Payam’s first day will be January 10, 2022.

About Payam…

Payam joins us having been drawn to the compelling mission to serve those who are most vulnerable in our society. He previously worked in the healthcare industry as the Vice President, Population Health and Value-based Health Systems at Ontario Health and previously with the Ontario Telemedicine Network and eHealth Ontario. He is an impactful, strategic, values-driven leader with a deep commitment to social justice and equity, with strong roots in community development, and demonstrated success as a transformational leader. Payam is dedicated to continuing the great legacy of the Inner City Health Associates.

As we welcome Payam, we say farewell to Shivanee Nadarajah, ICHA’s stalwart Director of Operations since July 2018. Shivanee’s family has recently moved to Michigan where they are embarking on a new phase in their lives. Shivanee quietly and hand in hand with Andrew Bond led ICHA through its most tumultuous and harrowing times. She brought calm, stability, and rigor to sustaining and expanding our services for ICHA’s clients. Shivanee’s fidelity to people who endure homelessness served as a signpost for the decisions and actions of ICHA’s Board of Directors and we are deeply grateful. The Board wishes Shivanee and her family the best with the hope for joy and contentment over the coming years.
